Swansea Landlord Forum

The next meeting of Swansea Landlords’ Forum will be held on Wednesday 20th November 2019 at The Brangwyn Hall, The Guildhall, Swansea.

Confirmed speakers include;

  • Bethan Jones (Operational Manager) and Huw Saunders (Compliance and Regulation Manager), Rent Smart Wales
    Rent Smart Wales update and an overview of the tenant fee ban.
  • PCSO James O’Neale, Western Community Safety Officer, South Wales Police
    The threat of County Lines on our communities
  • Julie Mallinson, Celtic Credit Union 
    How Celtic Credit Union engage with landlords and tenants to facilitate regular and timely transfer of monthly rent payments.

Also present will be Paula Livingstone (Divisional Officer, Pollution Control and Private Sector Housing), Steve Porter (Operations Manager, Community Housing Services), Marie Muldoon (Housing Options Manager), Jody Davies, (Tenancy Support Unit Co-ordinator) and colleagues from The Wallich and Council’s Waste and Recycling team who will be happy to answer any questions you have relating to their area of work.

Swansea Council will also be hosting a stand run by the Celtic Credit Union.

There are 150 spaces available for this event. To reserve your free space, please send your name, e-mail address and telephone number to jo.dowling@swansea.gov.uk by Monday 11th November. All attendees will be entered into a free raffle.

If you have any special access or other specific requirements please make it clear at the time of booking. (An alternative level access to the hall and a hearing loop will be available upon request).

The forum welcome contributions to the meeting in the Welsh language. Please let us know by 11th November if you intend to use the Welsh language in the meeting so that arrangements for a translation service can be made.
